All of our accounts provide unlimited access (within reason, ie: no dedicated camping or automated unattended clients) with no long distance charges. You may have up to 5 e-mail addresses and free "personal" web space (up to 10 megs). Our service is $19.95 per month. This is not a contract, you may cancel at any time and be refunded for any unused months. Initial signup includes a $15.00 activation fee in addition to the first month's service. We offer free technical support and all of our accounts include a free initial Internet setup/walk-thru over the phone with one of our Technicians.

We offer a Premium Services Package which includes all of these 5 services; Momentum TurboSurf Accelerator, SPAM Filtering, Virus Filtering, Pop Up & Ad Blocking, PC System and Connection Utility at a low cost of $3.00 per month which can be added to your monthly service charge.

Payment Options: We accept Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover and personal checks, or we can draft your checking account. On your renewal date, we will automatically charge your card, or draft your account, unless notified otherwise. We send invoices as renewal notices via e-mail. We will not draft your account, or charge your card if we receive payment before your renewal date.

Our Connections

Momentum Online uses 18 digital T1 connections via Verizon to provide over 400 dial-up lines servicing Burnet, Blanco, and portions of Llano, Comal and Bulverde Counties in the Texas Hill Country.

Dial-Up access is via multiple Cisco NAS's, Cisco Routers, along with Adtran and Digital Link TSU, CSU/DSU's.

Our connections from the Verizon central phone offices are all digital T1 PRI connections, traversing only one analog to digital conversion from your residence/place of business to you access server in most instances.

Our modems consist of Microcom and Mica modems which provide both K56flex and V.90 protocols.

We are a tier-2 provider with multi-homed routes to the Internet via both Sprint and MCI.

 

Our Servers

We run Unix-based servers which provide reliable POP3 and IMAP E-mail, DNS, secure HTTP via an Apache webserver which also supports PHP.

All of our access equipment and servers are connected to uninterruptible power supplies for continuous operation in the event of power failures.
