Independence Day
This is my day and your day and
our day, all wrapped up in one.
It's the 4th of July, Independence
Day, second to none.
It's the best time of all to
be seen as America's own,
Giving tribute for founding
in Freedom the best nation known.
Independence Day brings out the
pride we Americans feel
For our nation, our Flag, all
the things that enhance its appeal.
So let's celebrate this day
by openly showing our pride;
We're Americans, first, last,
and always with nothing to hide.
Your commitment to guarding your
Liberty measures your worth;
This, the 4th of July, and the
symbol of this nation's birth.
With you putting America first,
in your heart, in your mind,
You will find you are safeguarding
Freedom our founders consigned.
